Your Steam profile must be public — how to set it (30 sec)
  1. In Steam, click your name (top-right) → Profile.
  2. Click Edit Profile, then open the Privacy Settings tab.
  3. Set My profile to Public.
  4. Set Game details to Public — this is what shows your library value.
  5. For skins & items, also set Inventory to Public.
  6. Steam saves automatically. Come back and scan.

Signing in through Steam never sees your password and doesn’t change any settings — Steam only confirms your account ID. You can switch your profile back to private once you’ve scanned.

We only ever read public Steam data.
