Frequently asked questions
We’re a small team and we reply personally. We reply within one business day, Mon–Fri, US Pacific. If your question is not answered here, email support@galaxywarden.com or use the contact page, and a person will read it.
Can an AI find out where I live?
Often, yes — and the honest answer has two halves that get run together. Here they are apart.
The first half is look-up. An AI retrieves what has already been published about you: people-search listings, property records, the files data brokers sell. A reporter asked a chatbot for a professor's home address. It said no, then offered a different route and produced the address, what he paid for the house, and his wife's name. Nothing there was guessed. It was sitting in public, waiting for someone to ask. That half is the one we work on — those listings are exactly what we file to have taken down, and file again each time a site puts you back.
The second half is inference: a model reading how you write and guessing where you live, what you earn, how old you are, with no listing involved anywhere. Taking listings down does nothing to that. Neither does anyone else’s removal service, and a company that implies otherwise is selling you something that does not exist.
The evidence for both, with sources you can open yourself, is on what an AI can already find out about you.
The free scan shows you what the look-up half already returns under your name — no account, no card.
What does GalaxyWarden do?
Two things.
First we find where your details are exposed: in known data leaks, and on the people-search sites that publish home addresses.
Then we send legal removal requests to the companies holding them, and we keep sending them when your listing comes back.
Is this a scam? Who are you?
Companies pay him to find the holes in their security before criminals do.
That is our founder.
The company is BATECH LLC, registered in California.
Our mailing address is published on the contact page and on every legal page.
More about him on the about page; what we publish, and how we count it, on the trust page.
What does it cost?
The scan is free. There is no account and no card, and you see the result on the page.
The full report — $9.99, once.
The free scan tells you that a phone number of yours is out there.
The report shows you the number, and every site we found holding it.
It is offered on your own results page once the free scan has found something, because we can only report what a scan finds.
Protection — $14.99/mo or $129/yr. Data brokers rebuild their files from public records, so listings come back. Protection keeps filing every time you reappear, all year. See pricing for the full comparison.
What do the paid plans give me that the free scan didn’t?
The free scan tells you which of your details leaked and where. The report shows you the actual values and names every site holding them. Protection is the one that does something about it: it files the removal requests with all 580 companies so you don’t have to (how we count), and files again each time a site puts you back — which they do from fresh public records. We file; a company still has 45 days to act, and a few refuse authorized agents outright.
What happens after I pay?
Right after checkout you fill in a short profile — your name, current and previous addresses, and date of birth — and sign one authorization form.
That form is what lets us act for you by law.
Then we file, and we email you what came down.
The step-by-step is on how removals work.
How is this different from Incogni or DeleteMe?
Two things you can check for yourself. You see a real result before you pay anything: no account, no card, on the page. And we find where you actually are before we tell anyone your name.
The side-by-side is on the comparison page.
What do you do with my data?
We do not sell, rent or license your data. Two different clocks run on a free scan, and they are worth separating.
What the scan found — the name, phone number and address it matched to you — is kept for 48 hours and then deleted.
Your results link stops working at the same moment, so after that a fresh scan is the only way back in.
The address we sent it to is not on that clock, and we would rather say so than round it off.
We keep it, because it is what the emailed link resolves to and because re-running the search from it is how a later visit shows you something current instead of a stored copy of your details.
It is never sold, rented or shared.
Ask us to delete it — support@galaxywarden.com — and we do.
Everything we keep, and for how long, is listed in the privacy policy.
Marketing email is a separate opt-in, off by default, and declining it never affects your scan.
Password checks never send your password — only a hash prefix.
Breach lookups on your email go to Have I Been Pwned and DeHashed over TLS. We do not log the query.
Will you remove everything?
No. In most cases we will not remove 100% of your information from the internet.
Getting hundreds of companies to honour an opt-out is never-ending work, and any service that promises otherwise is overselling.
If “everything, permanently” is your expectation, we are not the right product for you.
Can I cancel? Can I get my money back?
Yes. One click in your account settings, on any plan.
Refunds: Protection and Family carry a 30-day refund on your first billing period — monthly and annual alike.
Email support within 30 days of that first charge and we refund it in full.
After that, cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund a period already in progress.
Our 14-day filing guarantee applies to Protection at Protection’s own rate: if we miss it for a reason within our control, that billing period is refunded.
Those are summaries. Our Refund & Service Guarantee is the single source of truth for every plan, and it controls if anything here reads differently.
