Turn on two-factor authentication at account.riotgames.com and store the backup codes offline — one Riot login covers Valorant, League, TFT and Wild Rift. Then give Riot a password you use nowhere else and switch on login notifications. Boosting is the other half of the problem: handing over the login is how ranked accounts get taken, and the boost is rarely the point.
Enable Riot 2FA
Riot Games offers two-factor authentication for all accounts. This protects your League, Valorant, and other Riot games.
- Go to account.riotgames.com
- Navigate to Account Management
- Click on Two-Factor Authentication
- Enable using your authenticator app
- Save your backup codes securely
