Woflow Data Breach (2026)

In March 2026, the AI-driven merchant data platform Woflow was named as a victim by the ShinyHunters data extortion group. The group subsequently published tens of thousands of files allegedly obtained from the company, comprising more than 2TB of data. The trove included hundreds of thousands of email addresses, names, phone numbers and physical addresses, with the data indicating it related to Woflow customers and, in turn, the customers of merchants using their platform.

On March 4, 2026, the AI-driven merchant data platform Woflow was publicly named by the ShinyHunters data extortion group, which then published more than 2TB of allegedly stolen files containing 448,000 individuals’ email addresses, names, phone numbers, and physical addresses.

What's Publicly Reported from Reporting

Public reporting indicates the incident involved customer records from Woflow as well as downstream records belonging to the customers of merchants who use the platform. The exposed dataset includes basic contact details that are highly useful for identity thieves and social engineers. Have I Been Pwned lists the breach with a confirmed exposure date in early March 2026 and notes that the files were made available on a leak site operated by the same group.

448,000 affected records and more than 2TB of published data represent a significant volume of personal information now circulating beyond the company’s control. No evidence of payment-card data or direct financial details has been reported in the initial publication.
