Key steps to lock down LinkedIn in 2026

  1. Profile photo → Settings & Privacy → Visibility.
  2. Turn Public profile to Off for your specific sections (work history, education, skills).
  3. Set Who can see your connections to Only you.
  4. Turn off Activity broadcast, Profile discovery suggestions, and Profile viewing history.
  5. Opt out of AI training and Data for Generative AI Improvement.
